ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Policy statement of Essential Connection London Limited, trading as The Essential Connection. Issued October 2026. Next review: October 2027.

We recognise that our work has an effect on the environment, and we are committed to reducing it. We will meet all relevant environmental legislation and aim to improve our performance over time.

Our commitments

​

Waste: we minimise waste, reuse and recycle materials wherever possible, and dispose of waste, including old boilers, cylinders and hazardous waste, through licensed facilities in line with our duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

​

Energy efficiency: we help customers reduce energy use by recommending efficient boilers, controls, heat pumps and system improvements where they are suitable.

​

Refrigerants and chemicals: we handle, store and dispose of chemicals and any refrigerants safely and in line with the law, and prevent spills and leaks.

​

Travel: we plan routes and appointments to reduce mileage and keep our vehicles well maintained.

​

Suppliers: where practical, we choose suppliers and products with good environmental standards.

​

Awareness: we make sure everyone working for us understands this policy and their part in it.
